Yes, just Yes! If only all horror movies could be this good, this deliberate, and this fucking scary. Besides how good this movie is, it is also a period piece (the early 80’s) and not only is the music and wardrobe spot on, but the cinematography and the aesthetic of this movie make it feel as if it really could have been made in the late 70’s early 80’s, and that’s hard to accomplish. Also Jocelin Donahue is super hot.

My warning is that The House of the Devil is not a fast paced film. It takes its time to develop, but it’s worth it, I promise.
