I saw this movie in IMAX and holy fuck was it a full body experience. Interstellar isn’t perfect, it has some dialogue issues and a moment where Anne Hathaway’s character goes on a weird tangent about the power of love, but there’s no denying that Interstellar is a space epic. I think it is right up there with Kubrick’s 2001 and Tarkovsky’s Solaris. It might not be as good as those two movies but in terms of space epics, I don’t see how Interstellar doesn’t take the third spot on the list.

Interstellar is an experience that deserves to be seen on a big screen in theaters and…MATT FUCKING DAMON! Damon deserves an oscar for his performance, for without it this movie losses a lot of it’s epic-ness and a lot of the excitement that you feel when you leave the theater. Damon takes this movie to the level it needed to be at.

God Bless America
